This 10" round lemon sponge cake filled with lemon buttercream was created for a joint childrens birthday party. It is covered with marzipan and pale green icing.
Decorated with a pink elf and a gnome, the gnome sits on a smaller 4" cake which has been decorated to make a tree stump. They are surrounded by woodland creepy crawly creatures including snails, spiders, ladybirds. Minature toadstools, flowers and leaves complete this edible scene.
