Please be aware that the above portion sizes are very small. Traditionally, a fruit cake portion is around 1 inch x 1 inch, and a sponge cake is around 2 inch x 1 inch.
If you want your portions to be larger than this, particularly if you want to serve a wedding cake as dessert or with the tea and coffee, you will need a larger cake. It is always better to have too much cake than too little!
