

4 Tier wedding cake. The bottom two tiers were traditional fruit and the top two almond sponge. Covered with marzipan and white icing.
The groom wanted a plain cake, while the bride wanted pink to match the wedding theme. So the cakes were plainly covered with white icing with scroll piping at the edges, then the top of each pair of tiers was decorated with white and pink sugar flowers. The top tier has pink feathers and pink butterflies which are flying on silver wire.
This style would also look great with colourful fresh flowers topping each tier.
